New York/ Paris – Two Dressing Rooms
An armature screen is initially designed to capture an ever-changing movement and angles of viewing at the store. The modules interlocked with each other to give a different depth and space to all the verticle columns, which made them become ghosting shadows of each other while the armature blurs the displaying garments and slows people down. By adding a spool of thread to the armature, the screen becomes a pair of dressing rooms where users inhabit the line between the ideal and the actual. The layering of thread creates different level of privacy for users from the public.
