Yuhan was born and raised in Chongqing, China, a city famous for chili hot pot and its hilly landscape. He has graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from Yale School of Architecture, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also minored in Environmental Design and City Planning.
                           
He explores architecture as a way to embody the human-environment connections in a concrete form, and he strives for design that can mentally and physically improve the quality of life. His design interests lie broadly in architecture, interior and object-making.
